Tonight was going to be a perfect kind of night. It had been a week ago that Loki had let it slip that the escorts at the Burgundy Suites could be taken out of the hotel for ‘dates’ if one wanted and liked their escort enough to shell out the money for the evening. If the dates ended in a happy ending, it was more. That didn’t really matter to Sebastian. He couldn’t spend the whole night with his favorite escort tonight. He’d been told the day prior that he would be called out to leave for some small town in Iowa. Who would want to sign their soul away to a demon in such a boring place like Iowa was beyond him but his job wasn’t to ask questions about the clients themselves, just about the task at hand.

He’d just wanted to see him before he left for two weeks. Leave a little bit of a lasting impression so he’d be thrilled to see him again. Not only that, Sebastian had a few things up his sleeves to make sure the escort didn’t forget about him for those two weeks. He likely would have gotten scolded by Loki for going this little extra mile for an escort. Pssh. Seb was doing fine. He wasn’t gaining any feelings for someone who worked at a hotel and had sex for a living. That was preposterous. He just liked this one particularly. Not to mention he liked getting those tan cheeks a little rosy. Either set really.

Preparation hadn’t taken much effort, though the demon had gone on a wild hunt for the perfect kind of gift box. He’d been at the restaurant earlier that day to drop the little surprise off. They’d bring it to their table later, after they had eaten. Ever since their first meeting, Sebastian had made it a weekly thing to see the escort. Evan had seemed rather happy that the fun night months ago wasn’t the only time he was going to be seeing the demon (he’d admitted at least that much though text messages.) They had both come to look forward to their weekly meetings. He just hadn’t really gotten to know the witch very well; it had purely been about sex for those meetings. Tonight was a little different.

Perhaps Sebastian had overdressed a little, wearing a cobalt blue three piece suit with a dark red tie. Before he’d left his flat, he checked himself out in a full length mirror. Ever since Halloween, he’d grown a little bit of facial hair. His hair even was a little longer than it normally was. He still looked polished and handsome as per usual but probably a bit more distinguished with the beard. He combed through the beard with a free hand, the other was holding a large bouquet of flowers. He’d gotten them from his favorite florist. A lovely mixture of large red long stem roses, poppies and baby’s breath. Miss Bishop always did such a splendid job with her flower arrangements and Seb was sure the witch would enjoy the longevity of them. The flowers would likely still be alive by the time Sebastian returned from contract. He’d have to ask Evan when he got back.

He’d been told to just meet the escort at the restaurant. It didn’t seem quite so formal but he guessed that didn’t matter. It wasn’t really meant to be romantic (although it kinda totally was.) That wasn’t important. He just needed to get to the reservation on time. So, going to the private parking garage he only shared with the other two tenants in the building, who lived above him, Seb shot a glance over at his Harley. Snow hadn’t hit the ground yet so it was likely he was going to be taking it on contract but for the date and the sake of not getting anything on his suit, he picked his Jeep to get to the restaurant.

It was one of those ritzy type of places. High ceilings, chandeliers, high backed chairs, a fountain in the entrance, the works. Telling the hostess to be on the lookout for his ‘date’ he was led off to his table and seated promptly. After ordering a bourbon for himself and a whiskey for Evan, he debated on how he was to greet the escort. It might look odd to other patrons if he didn’t get up and give him a kiss. The cheek would probably be okay and not breaking any rules. Eh, it would come to him when he saw the pretty faced escort. For now he just sipped his bourbon.

Ben tried not to feel bad about the aged man knocked out beneath him.

They’d been mid-coitus when the balding man had finally fallen asleep, Ben slowing his already lazy riding. Having slipped the man something in his viagra water 10 minutes before, he hadn’t expected the man to be awake that long…not that it stopped his angry boner. It just made the escort hate the situation that much longer.

The man beneath him was Elis Grant. One of the stockholders of the company and one of the men that had been found on the premises of the hotel that night. It used to hurt to think of when they found her, but by now it’d simply become a part of his job. The job that went hadn’t and hand with pleasing clients. He was just that much closer to finding him…

The slow acting poison would do him in slowly and not a soul would think much more than the man's insatiable desire for sweets and fatty foods. His heart would clinch a bit too tightly a life and end itself instead. The exact outcome that Ben had hoped for when he fixed up the mixture long before their meeting. The room even looked as per normal. Bed a bit in disarray and clothes tossed in a few different places. The normal effect of a “night of passion.”

Raising off the man, his member was still ready for more, but it’d be getting no haps ending from the curly haired man. The escorts own cock far from interested in the entire situation. If anything, Ben wished he was somewhere else, as he often did with some of his clients. They were older and not at all fascinating. Just older men, looking to be in their prime again and Ben being paid for the assist. He was now running a bit behind schedule because he’d hoped the old guy would tucker out faster. Ben thought to make the mixture stronger next time, but shook the thought, knowing he was simply annoyed to be kept from the real excitement of the night.

With the encounter ending so soon into things—mostly as planned—he hopped in the shower and cleaned himself up. There wouldn’t be time to get his hair fully dry, but he was sure by the time he arrived, it would be barely noticeable. The ever-present companion to his escort duties, his leather duffle was void of sexy toys and ties and now holding his change of clothes. Having worn in a dark garb that was nearly ritualistic for his meetings, Ben had a different set of clothes for the excitement of the evening. A shimmery teal suit carefully rolled to avoid wrinkles, devoid of the bloodlust he’d had for the first hour of this meeting. It was dressy but made causal with a simple horizontal striped shirt beneath. A bold statement, but worth it, considering whom he’d be meeting.

Spritzing a bit of cologne at his collar and wrists he added a flair of sea breeze to his look and tousled his hair a bit. Soon after he was dressed and as dapper as they come, but gave himself one last glance in the mirror. His eyes had gone a bit rough again, a strange mix of brown and grey. Reuben had a feeling this would excite his very strange client, given their various meetings. Thinking of him was making him warm. After weeks of knowing him, he still wasn’t quite sure how to feel. Sebastian was far different than his other clients in that he didn’t feel like one at all…which was a problem.

Even as Ben slipped into his shined leather shoes and grabbed the remainder of his things, that excited feeling didn’t settle. It had been the exact same from when Sebastian showed up on his appointments….but to meet elsewhere. The place wasn’t new to him, he’d been there once or twice in the past year for gatherings, but never for something this..causal. Was it casual? Was he perhaps underdressed?

He stopped by his temporary room at the hotel to drop off his bag before heading down to the reception. The place was a few doors down so he simply walked there, trying to fix the giddy expression on his face. No. Reuben had to stop this. He was just a client and this was work, not some date with Avery. They hadn’t been on a date in a few weeks due to his schedule…and it was to the movies…and it was a shitty movie.

So upon standing in front of the bougie restaurant, it was difficult not to think of this as a date and he had no one to blame but Mr. S and his desire to do “unrecommended” activities with his favorite new plaything. This was further engraved in his expectations as he entered the establishment and was greeted by the hostess. Ben barely got his mouth open before she was saying:

“Oh! You must be here to see Mr. S. Please! Right this way, sir.”

Blinking a few times, the escort was led through the area. There were various couples in the area, enjoying their glossed up dinners and drinks. He felt out of place—not because of how he was dressed or even his profession, but because of who he was in all this. It’s how he felt whenever he was taken somewhere nice, pretending to be an upper-class treat, while feeling anything but. Even with his finely tailored suit and fluffy dark curls, the polish he wore felt paper thin. Couldn’t they have met at the hotel's attached restaurant?

That sensation became muddied with something else when he finally stopped behind the hostess and saw the familiar handsome face. The hostess bowed away, but Ben didn’t move from the spot. Not because of how felt--no he always acted as if he belonged in such places—but because he was staring at the polished man before him. Very few times had he actually seen the man even half dressed in their meetings. Usually, Sebastian was in much less. That baffled feeling met him yet again, the same one from their first meeting. Who knew the man could clean up so very well and become that much more handsome to the eye. Ben ripped his eyes away from the suit to look over at the flowers, this time….very confused.

“Hello…those wouldn’t happen to be for me, would they?”, a confidence dragged from the depths to greet his favorite patron.

He hadn’t arrived too early. The reservation for the table had been for 6:30 and he’d told Evan to arrive between then and 7 o’clock. Sebastian had made sure he was early for the reservation (they were even near a scenic window that looked into a pleasantly woody part of Central Park rather than looking out into the concrete jungle of the city… or directly at another building.) The other items of tonight he had discussed with the waitress that had brought his drink and his date’s. He didn’t even have to drink the whiskey at all, the demon had been flipping through the wine selections and had settled on a deep red wine to be brought to the table. Mixing his alcohol didn’t bother the demon at all but it may have been too much to handle for the witch. Before Evan showed up, he asked the waitress to replace the whiskey with a water with lemon and mint. And as he drained his bourbon glass, handing it off to her, he ordered the wine to be brought to the table. She had seemed more than happy to oblige. This place always did have such pleasant workers.

Now chewing on a mint so he didn’t reek of bourbon when his date arrived, he didn’t have to wait too long before the hostess was smiling at him and announcing that he’d finally arrived. Putting the menu he’d been looking at back down on the table, he smiled at the escort who seemed a little frozen in place. Until he noticed the flowers.

Picking them up while also standing, Sebastian closed the distance between them both, wrapping his free arm around him to pull him close and present the flowers. “They are for you.” And immediately after saying so, he found Evan’s lips with his own in a rather passionate lip lock. Just as quickly as it had started, Seb pulled away with a wicked smirk on his lips.Making sure to pull out Evan’s chair before sitting back down himself, he could most certainly feel the stares coming their way now. Some of them filled with envy and Sebastian wasn’t sure if it was for him or for Evan but either way, the sweet smell of envy was always welcome for this demon.

Soon, the waitress was bringing over a small metal trolley that had a bucket of ice placed on top, the wine Sebastian had chosen inside the bucket and a set of wine glasses set neatly to the side. She placed down small napkins before setting the glasses on the table and presented Sebastian the wine and opened it for them. She poured the first glass for them both and then told them she would be back for their food orders shortly. Thanking her, the demon could finally turn his attention to his date for the night.

This was a rather fancy place but the way Evan had chose to dress was different than what Sebastian had been planning. The escort seemed to wear darker clothes but tonight he’d made a rather bold statement by wearing the blue. However, it was bringing the unusual mixture of colours in his eyes that just had the demon staring into them. “You look handsome tonight, Evan He said, swirling the blood red liquid around in the glass before taking a sip. He made a sound of approval at the taste of it.

Leaning forward a bit, there was something in the air that Sebastian caught with his nose rather than just the envy in the air and Evan’s cologne. Trying not to make it obvious that he was trying to pinpoint something, he could actually smell it a bit better as Evan leaned in for his wine glass. It was unmistakable wrath albeit a tad faded now. The demon wondered where that came from or if he was wafting it from somewhere else. It was the demon’s turn to be at a crossroads: does he ask or does he just let it slide and have the subtitle scent of wrath… and frankly just a touch of lust, drive him to crossing his legs all night? It seemed in poor taste to ask if he’d worked tonight. Sorry I was so infrequent with you the last couple weeks. Turns out demons can get sick and I was lucky enough to get it.” Though he didn’t want to share that he’d been in tremendous pain, couldn’t eat or drink anything and mostly had been a pile of woe is me for the past week. He’d stayed away an extra few just to be sure it was out of his system completely. Seb saw that Evan was admiring his flowers. “Like them? I got them from my favorite flower shop.” He couldn’t help but smile. He knew the flowers would be a hit. Hopefully the other gift would be just as good.

He’d never gotten flowers before.

Then again, up until Avery, he hadn’t had a real boyfriend or gone on very many dates, either. It was just that Avery gave him so much attention before they hooked up. He wouldn’t leave him alone if only for the attention. He’d never really gotten him too many gifts, but something as sweet as flowers was definitely not on Avery’s radar. Flowers were for girls, or so he imagined Avery saying. No, he needn’t start comparing the two, Reuben quickly decided in his head. He’d be seeing Avery soon enough that night…perhaps he has changed his mind about ‘certain gifts.’ If only for their anniversary.

Doubtful, but Ben could hope.

The witch was so confused and secretly enamored with the bundle of flowers, that he soon found himself wrapped up in Sebastian's arms. His heart skipped a beat at the sudden realization of what was happening, but he couldn’t stop it and his lips were locked with the naughty demon’s. Ben didn’t pull away or fight him, however, knowing he couldn’t reject him and tarnish the narrative. No, the number one rule of being an escort was to not embarrass the client. Which meant leaning in affectionately for this delightful kiss, the faint taste of liquor more of a turn on. He sighed when they finally parted, cursing the demon’s tricks silently—even tho he outwardly smiled.

Ben quietly took his seat after, letting Seb push his seat in with a smile. Though his eyes flickered down to the bouquet he’d been given. Taking in the floral scent, his cheeks flushing only half as bright as the flowers themselves. Even after putting the red bloom down his fingers still toyed with one of the velvety leaves sticking out. “You definitely know how to charm me…they’re beautiful, Sebastian.” He spoke up, reaching over to take a sip of the freshly poured wine and trying to keep his focus on the meeting. He just hadn’t expected such…formality?

“I try….though I can’t say that I could have ever dreamt you looking…even half as good as you do now. You’re a bit more dressed than I’m used to…” he purrs, biting his lip. Why was he so giddy? The witch found himself unable to sit still, shifting in his seat a bit and his fingers stroking the stem of his glass. Perhaps it was a case of pavlov’s dog? Usually with in moments of seeing the man, he was allowed to jump his bones at every meeting. Behaving was normally easy for him, but not that moment. Perhaps it had been from how long they’d been apart?

“Oh it’s fine. Business before pleasure and health before that. If anything, I’m glad you’re alright. I wouldn’t know what to do if I lost my favorite client. Who’d I get to tie me up with such pretty knots?” he whispered boldly, swirling his glass. Something about the demon seemed off, but Ben decided to keep up his flirtatious game. Or rather he tried to, but Seb, as always, knew how to get him flustered.

“Of course! I just…” the curly haired witch cleared his throat. “I’ve never actually gotten flowers before…” He hadn’t expected to admit it all so readily, but it was true. And it was the only way to explain why he kept staring at them and touching them. Reuben had sort of expected Seb to pull something like this, after how he left their first session of cuddling and the origami tip. There was just this grand desire to just climb across the table and ride him in his seat. Instead, Ben tried to hide his blush with a drink of his glass.

“You truly…didn’t have to do that, but I can’t wait to get them home. I also can’t wait to thank you properly. Are you going out of town again? You barely reserved any fun time tonight…?” the real question of the night finally surfaces, Ben actually actually giving him a bit of a pout. It was the only glimpse of anger that he got, his curious eyes dropping to the menu finally, as he noticed the waitress making her round back to the “happy couple”

She asked if they were ready and, not wanting to hold up the dinner any longer, Ben quickly jotted off the first thing. “I’ll have the Seared Scallops with the mash and asparagus. I don’t want anything too heavy…might want dessert later.” The escort winked at her and the waitress giggled knowingly. If they were going to be a couple in public, he wanted them to have some flare.

The flowers had been a last minute split decision. Though he’d gone to the flower shop earlier that day he wasn’t sure if Evan would even like flowers. Or be one of those guys that gets huffy and thinks receiving flowers would emasculate them just by being in their hand. However the demon had a hunch. Sure, he didn’t know the escort very well other than how to arch his back to get him moaning and drooling. Not that that was bad intel or anything. Sebastian had just never really asked Evan anything personal. He wasn’t totally sure why knowing a little about the bright eyed, perfectly tanned escort felt… taboo? Perhaps it was the slight hint of nervousness he could see on him. “You’re welcome. I’m just glad you like them.” Personally, Sebastian had a lot of house plants. In the spring, he and Steve would compete for who had the best terrace garden while James played judge. Steve was an awfully crafty human.

Thankful that Evan hadn’t pulled away from the tender kiss, Seb was already pretty confident that the night was going to go off without a hitch. Frankly, he didn’t want prying eyes to think this one was getting paid to be here, sit pretty and laugh at all Sebastian’s cornball jokes. No, he’d really like to think that the money was just a nice bonus at the end of it all. Evan always seemed to like their meetings, even if a lot of it was usually a convincing act. The demon did have little tells that let him know that the witch was more about their meetings than he’d likely willingly share.

A smile tugged at the corner of the demon’s lips, pleased with the positive feedback. He chuckled a little, “Of course. I’m glad you like them. Buying them felt like a risk. I wasn’t sure if you liked roses, or flowers for that matter. Or you could have been allergic to them. Thankful it wasn’t either.” Taking up his own glass of wine for a sip, dark eyes left the escort for a moment to look around behind Evan. He was already sensing some envy from people though only a few had lingering stares. A man in a far corner is what really kept his attention. Obviously out with his wife and by the looks of them, probably had been together awhile. His best guess was that he was wishing the wife looked a little more like Evan. After giving the bloke a good stare down (and maybe sending the mental image of something that made the old man’s stomach turn so bad that he had to quickly excuse himself, Sebastian turned back to his pretty date with a smile.

Getting a compliment on his dress wasn’t all that surprising. This suit was one of his favorites and he really liked the color of the tie. He was sure the hair was impeccable and the beard was a nice mature touch Evan wasn’t used to seeing. At the start of any of their meetings, clothes were quickly shed. Still, it made the demon feel good to hear that Evan liked him in nice clothes just as much as he liked what was underneath. A coy smile slowly formed on his lips. “I do like to look nice. It’s not too often I get to pull out the three piece. Are you so sure you like the suit on as much as you’d like it off?” His voice that gravelly rumble that tended to send shivers up the escort’s spine. Seb could sense the light tension and noticed the squirming. The fingers stroking the wine glass stem slowly. He’d trained this one too well in the bedroom it seemed. He was going to have to show Evan that just because they were seeing each other didn’t mean a sticky ending… Even if it did sound nice. In the end, Sebastian had to adjust a little and cross his legs trying to remind himself that he wasn’t here for that. It had been awhile since he’d seen him. He looked so bloody fit in that real suit and the way those golden eyes were staring over the tablecloth at him had Seb take a bigger drink of wine.

One of his eyebrows raised. “I may have felt like death but I don’t think it would have killed me. Just a touch of bad luck.” A smirk then played on his lips. “A good rigger with a knowledge of how to use his tools is a rare find, I suppose.” Pondering this thought, he swirled the deep red liquid in his glass. He may have been acting weird because Evan wasn’t the only one struggling keeping still in his seat. Sebastian had no intention of hearing the sweet chorus of moans come from the escort.

Rather surprised to hear that this was Evan’s first time receiving flowers… from anyone? He was sure someone who looked like him went out on dates, the normal kind where you didn’t refer to that person as ‘client.’ But no one in his entire dating timeline had given the handsome, curly haired witch a single flower? Sebastian could hardly wrap his head around that. Evan had been dating all the wrong people.

When the other man mentioned paying him back properly, a smile etched across his lips. It was quickly followed by the question of him leaving. He tried to not look disappointed but nodded. The glass of wine had been hovering around his lips, taking a drink when Evan poured about hardly any time for fun. Swallowing the wine down before he choked on it, Seb cleared his throat before answering. “No I didn’t. That was on purpose actually.” He paused but quickly thought what he’d said sounded a little harsh. So he quickly added, “It’s not you. Nothing wrong with you, I mean. I want to but..” Seb cut the sentence short as the waitress approached their table. Good thing he’s already looked it over before Evan showed up.

Once Evan had ordered and gave his clever little innuendo, Sebastian couldn’t help but chuckle as the waitress turned to him. “I’ll do the pan seared filet mignon. Medium rare. The mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables will do fine.” It was before the waitress was too far out of earshot that he turned to Evan. “Would you fancy something cream filled, love?” A toothy grin pulling at his lips at not only the gasp he heard from the waitress but the look he was getting from his date. Sebastian wiggled his eyebrows and chuckled.

Checking to make sure the waitress was no longer around their table, the demon helped himself to some more wine and offered Evan some as well. After he put it back and cleared his throat. “Anyway before I was interrupted… I want to have playtime with you, pet, but at the same time I feel as though it could dampen the mood I’ve tried to set for the evening.” He paused for a beat and added, “If that makes any sense. Is that a deal breaker?” He asked, maybe a little unsure if Evan wouldn’t be interested in a date that didn’t promise for a happy ending. The demon was looking right over at him, stuck in a gaze. “I must admit the week away had me anxious to see you again.” He admitted, saying ‘I missed you’ without saying it.

This meeting was going to be a struggle. Although he didn’t have the temptation of the demon wanting him naked, he did still have to talk to him. To hear that commanding purr that made him lose focus…he was in for a long night. The suit as immaculate and gave him a look that made Ben’s mouth dry, but in response to the question, Ben simply blushed and glanced away coyly. He vaguely wondered if Seb was feeling as pent up as he was…

Seb played down Ben’s concern for him being a tad sick as well as the importance of someone with his talents. Ben was so curious about this. He hadn’t met someone that was quite as talented as the demon at rope and knots. It was something he wanted to explore but with the skilled and able handed man across from him. “…They wouldn’t be you…” He whispered, gazing across his glass.

The man had definitely gone on dates, but he wasn’t bought flowers. Men didn’t get flowers…or so the men he’d been on dates with thought. Seb seemed a tad surprised at his admission, but he didn’t dig into it further. What else was he supposed to say? Go ahead and pour in how he was taken and his own bae didn’t buy him flowers? Even when he fucked up? No, he’d keep that to himself and instead buttered up the man across from him.

Or he tried…

When Sebastian said that he’d kept the time short on purpose, his heart actually sank a bit. The followed statement didn’t fix it much either. “Oh….ok” was all he said, not even looking up from his menu before he was on to the next thought. Had he done something wrong? Was his issues with cuddling that bad that now he wasn’t going to get anything. As his thoughts escalated into more randomness, the waitress came toe veer the conversation.

Reuben hid most of his disappointment well, putting on a smile for the young woman. As she walked away, Sebastia dropped a stunning comment that only Ben was unphased by. He gave him a knowing smile, “That’s always the best way to end a night out.” His words loud enough to have their ‘audience’ squander a bit more and the waitress tripping on her retreat. They could still have fun…there didn’t need to be that kind of happy ending.

Sebastian seemed to read his woe-is-me underlying thoughts. Looks like the witch was right, he was trying to make it more of an official date. Ben wanted to say yes it was a deal breaker and express how annoyed he was at it. Sebastian knew the rules but…he missed him. And…this was his favorite client…and all of this extra bullshit was all in his head. It was just an act…but…maybe Sebastian didn’t want that anymore? And then his nerves were back.Reuben was so conflicted and it showed in his cracked reply of, “No…it’s not a deal breaker. We’ve never been on a date so you wanted to try it out…It’s been a while since I’ve had one…while working.” He translated his words as best he could, still being polite and sweet. When the demon admitted vaguely to missing him, the smile was back on his face. He had nothing to hide his gaze anymore so he diverted to the flowers once more.

“I…I was looking forward to this for a while too…” Keep it to the point, he told himself. He could have told him all the other things he was feeling, but he didn’t want to overwhelm things. The way his eyes lit up a little gave it away how excited he was, but he still kept it in. “So you were on some retreat right? How was that? Learn about some new equipment or something?” he said, changing the subject a bit. Meanwhile, under the table, something else was happening. He’d slipped a socked foot out of his loafer to stroke Sebastian’s leg. Ben just wanted to touch him…if he couldn’t be immensely forward…then he could tease him some more. His face looked as innocent as can be.

Oh no doubt Sebastian was going to be crossing and uncrossing his legs all night. Right now he could feel a familiar tingle in his loins and lower stomach that usually happened right before the clothes started coming off and mouths started to explore bodies. This was an odd form of torture he’d never done to himself before. It felt a little like a challenge for himself. Here was Evan, all dolled up and looking precious as he usually did and Sebastian was denying him of the intimate one-on-one time the bright eyed witch craved. Obviously. It was written all over his expression. And the demon was just longing to give him what he wanted because he knew how badly he wanted it himself.

Sebastian was flattered that Evan was so intrigued about his rope skills. Then the hushed reply he got made him smile even more. Was the escort trying to butter him up to get what he wanted? It was working like a charm. “They wouldn’t be me.” He affirmed, licking his lips and looking down at his wine glass on the table. It was an attempt to look humble. If Evan only knew the different ways he could use the red neck tie he was wearing to tie him to his liking… but he couldn’t think like that. “I’m glad someone finally appreciates my skill.” Chuckling at the end of his statement to let Evan know he was mostly joking. Although the witch was likely the first one to encourage him to be tied up and ask for it.

After admitting that he’d made their meeting short on purpose, Seb actually watched him deflate. Oh no. He had to reel him back in somehow. Maybe some goodbye nookie wasn’t that bad of an idea and looking over at Evan now he knew he really wanted to be balls deep inside him and hearing all of the escort’s sweet sounds. There went the leg crossing again. “Love, don’t look so sad. It breaks my heart.” Now he was thinking he should offer the witch anything he wanted and regretting saying anything of the sort because of how it sounded. Sebastian sounded like a complete knob but he was prevented from explaining himself further and promising Evan the moon if he wanted it. He was starting to sound a little ridiculous even to his own thoughts. Saved by the waitress, indeed.

Having to settle his own discomfort at wanting to please Evan anyway he could and then question why it even mattered to begin with, he did crack a smirk at the reply he got back. Then their waitress nearly tripping over her feet trying to escape her own embarrassment at the table. The demon’s features softened because he wasn’t sure how the man across from his was feeling. Sebastian was starting to think he was going to get told to shove it up his own arse and to shove the flowers up there too until Evan finally spoke up again. Relieved that his date wasn’t going to storm out of the place on him but also taking note of how uncomfortable he seemed at the same time he spoke, something was just really off. Seb couldn’t quite put his finger on it. “A friend who told me about the hotel to start let it slip that he’d gone on dates with his flavor of choice. I should have thought rules like that would vary between person to person. I did just want to do something nice with you before I left for awhile. Really, I mis-.... I wanted to see you in a different kind of setting. You haven’t really been letting me get a good look at your handsome face even when we are… ahem.” He didn’t feel like he needed to get vulgar and go into detail about how Evan would often request doggy style or any position that didn’t have their faces close together. Sure, Sebastian liked what he saw all over on him (even that damn tattoo on his hip that he still hadn’t gotten the nerve to ask who the bloody Hell Claudia was even though every time Sebastian went down on him the damn thing always caught his eye) but he also liked to see his expressions as he pleasured him. Was that weird?

“Don’t get me wrong, Evan. I very much look forward to our meetings but also don’t think this will change the relationship we’ve already created with one another.” He smiled and shook his head slowly. “Oh no. I still haven’t seen all those cute toys you’ve promised me you have.” Wiggling his eyebrows a little and then winking at him. “Plus I’m sure there’s things you’ve been curious about me.” Like probably how a part time personal trainer had the money to rent a high end escort on a weekly basis. All of his regular clients certainly weren’t celebrities and the gym was nice and all but it wasn’t everything it could be. Seb was a little thrown off by the question but it didn’t take him long to catch up and land on his feet. “Right. Its lots of seminars, demonstrations of things, vendors wanting you to invest or buy their product. That kind of thing. The free stuff is always a bonus.” A smirk on his lips. He’d probably been to about a handful of these conventions and they were usually in the next city over or so. More words caught in his throat when he felt something on his leg. Moving to put his napkin in his lap, he was hoping it would be enough camouflage to keep the waitress from noticing a hulking chubby in his tailored trousers.

No way he was going to tell Evan to stop touching him. They would be right back to Sebastian telling him everything he wanted to hear and bargaining more time with him. This was a nasty roller coaster ride the demon was on. “It’s going to be boring. I’d rather not go but you know. Duty calls and all. Don’t be surprised if you get off the wall texts from me either.” He said with a shrug, picking up his wine and taking a sip from the glass. All the while, he was sliding the leg Evan had been touching on more forward so the escort could continue doing so. Why would he deny him of something so simple? Sebastian was struggling being so far apart from him. They were usually very close to each other in the other’s presence. Having a table separating them was odd. He wondered if it would be weird if it would be weird to scoot closer to him. “So how was all that time free from me? I imagine you didn’t have too many bruises on your bum or rope burns to worry about.” Sipping his wine again the demon also winked at same time. It was likely he just wanted to hear how he’d not been given a proper spanking or all the ones who tried rope play had made everything too loose.

He could hear it. The demon’s regret from how this date was going. Ben probably could have contained his disappointment better, but he also wasn’t expecting any of this. He hadn’t expected a date. He hadn’t expected flowers or a kiss. And he certainly hadn’t expected to hear Sebastian…almost say he missed him….Almost. Or have Seb express a light annoyance that Ben didn’t let him get a good look at his face while they fucked. Truth be told, that came from the lack of trust that emerged at their very first session. Ben trusted him to fuck him good and to go for all the things the demon wanted, but wouldn’t hold his breath on Sebastian pulling a fast one and trying to make out with him again.

Not that he actually minded it that much…it was actually good but--

Ah, so he had a friend who knew about the hotel? The witch vaguely wondered if he’d slept with he mystery fellow before, but didn’t think too far into it. Instead he just nodded. It was reasonable for Seb to want to see more of his face, he guessed. And this way, the demon got in all his looking with less intimacy. Though only minority, what with Ben trying to not gush every few minutes over how special he felt.

“Yea, that rule isn’t often used. It’s usually for taking escorts to events. Just the arm candy really. I suppose this still falls under that,” he mused. “Don’t worry. I’m not gonna hold it against you. Your request is my guarantee…and I enjoy your company. That won’t change at all.” The witch felt the need to reassure him, even though he was missing the potential for rug burn and a stingy rear end. It was the words his client said next that mad Ben blush again.

That fucking butt plug. He was still trying to decide if it was a good thing that his client wanted to see more of them, or if he really should be so embarrassed. It was good they could get used outside of his solo opportunities, but with this client he was sure it was hotter to know he was man enough to use them on Ben. Why was this man so frustrating to him??

And again, he was right. Ben was kind of curious about him. He was technically curious about all of his clients, but this one was different. This one was just busy enough to be illusive. Around enough to have more than enough interest. He was a personal trainer and that explained little. It explained the body beautifully, but nothing else… Reuben had simply nodded along again, but stopped to tilt his head. Maybe…he should take advantage of this moment and learn more about him. His curiosity had long since outgrown his looming ‘excitement’ of their affair.

“Text away! You haven’t sent me a boring text yet?…I think I’d like a few weird texts anyways,” at this he sat up a little more, creeping his hand forward along the table to play with the stem of his glass. Not feeling brave enough to touch Seb's hand, but missing it’s warmth. His leg kept it’s prodding, sliding down to hook on the leg hole and playing along his dress socks.

And what of himself? Ben wasn’t sure how much he should admit. This meeting was supposed to be different. His once bold gaze had dropped down to the table again. That hard decision of it he should lie coming up again. What would it hurt to be honest for him though? It wasn’t like he couldn’t stand Sebastian or that he was repulsive in anyway. This wasn’t even’t partially the case. So, instead of telling him a bunch of non-answers. Instead of shrugging and saying nothing, he actually opened up…just a little more for him.

“Well. I wish you wouldn’t make it sound like it’s a good thing that you were gone. I missed having bruises and a sting in all the right places,” He started, fully planning to seduce him with the information, but then softened his verbal lease a bit and tried to hold in his little smile. “That and well…no one else tells jokes quite like you. I definitely don’t smile half as much as after I’ve seen you for an hour or three. I can say that I actually missed you.” He chuckled, peering at him over his glass again.

“I didn’t get into much outside of work. Some errands. Maybe some baking here and there. Though I feel like I should bring up the irony of these flowers. I’d just bought a bouquet last week for the house and even told the shop girl that no one had ever given me any. Never asked if I liked them...How ironic is that? This makes me feel like I should start buying some house plants and take a chance on that again.”

It was funny how just a little commentary could go a long way and he was starting to feel a little more relaxed, even as he teased at Seb's leg. The witch slowly stroked up to his knee, but no higher…just enjoying the warm feeling of him. The little witch was even all smiles till he glanced over at something he saw beyond the demon’s handsome visage.

what the FUCK was he doing here?

It came as no real surprise that Evan was disappointed in the fact that the demon didn’t want that sticky ending he’d grown so used to giving the escort. But why did it seem so taboo and that Sebastian had some kind of ulterior motive behind hiring an escort to be his date for the night. Had Evan looked in a mirror? Sebastian wanted to do lots of nice things for him but it was all about warming him up to the idea. He supposed an ideal distraction would be having him getting fucked and moaning. But at the same time, Seb wanted Evan to see him as more than just a good fuck. Maybe that’s what was wrong. Okay so perhaps Seb was starting to realize he maybe liked Evan more than just a good fuck. He’d be hard pressed to admit such a thing but that didn’t mean it wasn’t there. No doubt Evan didn’t want to hear that either or he’d likely cut off all ties and that was not what either of them wanted so best to keep some things to yourself, old chap.

Seeing the curiosity etch across Evan’s face when Liam was mentioned, he could practically see the cog wheels turning. Sebastian shook his head a little, although he hated talking about another man while he was on a date he also felt he should clear up any confusion. “Liam has actually never seen you before. I’m sure even you can pick and choose the clientele you decide to play with for the evening. He’s got a favorite that he won’t stop telling me to try. Hugo? But I don’t see a reason for trying to find someone new when I’m perfectly satisfied every time I see you.” Sebastian smiled a rather charming smile if just to make Evan feel like he was special even if his friend was trying to sway him another way. “Oh good. I like seeing you and I know if I break enough rules, they won’t let me see you anymore. Bugger the rules.” I do what I want anyway. Although he didn’t say that, he still very much believed these words. No one could make the demon do anything he didn’t want to do already and in the same breath, no one could tell him he couldn’t do something he already set his mind to. Within reason.

Reading the expression on Evan’s face at the mention of the little, yellow candy heart toy. The smile only turned into a toothy grin, Seb running some fingers through his beard. Evan hadn’t said anything about it so he wondered if he even liked the extra facial hair. The demon hummed happily, obviously pleased with himself. “What? I like it. The colour looks so lovely against your skin and the shape of the way it just fits perfectly in between those plump cheeks of yours.” That signature smirk formed as he spoke, using his hands to talk. He’d formed a heart with his hand and chuckled as his hands fell back into his lap.

Again, Seb chuckled. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you, although I’m sure you’d like some pictures maybe?” Looking at Evan’s hand as he fingered the stem of his glass. Another low hum rumbled in his chest as he reached forward, his hand resting on the table and holding the witch’s hand in his own. He smiled as the sneaky foot still rubbed up against his leg. Liam had told him to keep his distance, he was hanging around this one escort an awful lot. Sebastian had told him to mind his bloody business because he could keep his feelings in check. Right? Right. Absolutely.

Evan was really stroking the demon’s ego. Flattery would get him everywhere he wanted to go. Chuckling again, “Well, no bruises certainly makes it easier to sit, doesn’t it?” Just teasing though, and it was very obvious. “It wasn’t a good thing that I was gone. It was a good thing that you missed me and wished for my return.” Evan wasn’t the only one who couldn’t stop smiling like an idiot after their meetings, Sebastian was even smiling like that now. He couldn’t stop. “That’s sweet. I’ve always believed if you can’t laugh with the person you are having sex with then what’s the point in having sex with them at all? They are dull. No one likes dull.” Thumb now rubbing over Evan’s hand, getting to his palm and rubbing that with the pad of his thumb. Seb cleared his throat, “I’m always willing to leave those bruises you like so much. As long as I get pictures of them the next day.” Giving him a wink. The demon was being awfully giddy, like he was on a date with his high school crush or something. That couldn’t possibly be what was happening.

As Evan started to explain what he got up to outside of the demon’s company, he perked up at the mention of baking. “What’s that?” He asked instantly after hearing it, dark eyes even wide with intrigue. Sebastian then cleared his throat. “Sorry. You said baking though. What do you bake? I’m curious.” Trying not to look like he was about to drool on the tablecloth, he was now a little more impressed with this particular witch. An excellent sub in the sheets and he bakes?? Bloody hell, there was very little the demon liked more than sweet pasties. Candy was good and he ate it frequently but something about a hot cinnamon bun straight out of the oven with that gooey icing dripping off still… Mmm… It gave him goosebumps.

Still listening to what Evan was saying about the flowers, a frown tugged at the corner of his lips some. “Pity no one has bought you flowers. And no house plants either? I’d be glad to gift you one. There’s a lovely flower shop I frequent, the shop owner is doubly as lovely and she even sells tea she makes herself! Also a witch and I’m quite positive she sells a few potions and such things but I’ve never actually asked her. I rarely am in need of potions or such things but her tea is brilliant.” It was like the smile on Sebastian’s lips was never going to fade, not in Evan’s presence anyway. Until he noticed the eyes he liked to look into so much veer away from his attention and seeing the bright smile fade from the witch had the demon turning around to see what had caught Evan’s attention and seemed a touch worrisome. Sebastian wasn’t going to let anyone ruin this night. “Is something the matter, Evan?” He asked in an even tone though he felt anything but. The demon clinched his empty hand, it feeling a touch itchy to wrap around someone’s neck.

Liam. It wasn’t a name he recognized and he was unsure if it was because he got so many random fake names or because he’d never actually heard it before at work. He was correct in thinking that he could choose who he wanted, but there was really no telling why he’d never met the guy. Maybe he hadn’t worked there when he was looking for someone as an escort. Oh…but then HUGO was mentioned and Ben couldn’t hide the hard eye roll. Ben regretted ever suggesting Hugo to him…It was a blessing that the demon hadn’t suddenly preferred him. He’d made stupid mistakes like that in the past and it wasn’t going to happen again. His hand briefly tightened into a fist.

“Well…I wonder about your friends taste if he enjoys Hugo more than a few times…” Ben muttered, not even attempting to hold back his ire as Seb spoke. But he let it go when the demon snuck in how satisfied he was. He wanted to add how at some point he was sure Ben was the one that should be paying Seb, but knew his companion would just shrug it off. He didn’t mind doing some work, as long as he was doing fun—or so Ben remembered from their very first time.

Ah…the rules that he clung to. Ben kind of looked down at that. He’d been really using them as a shield to keep some semblance of control in their meetings. Even though he got a thrill from having someone taking over. Even though he wanted to spent possibly more time with Seb than he should. That he knew deep down…he himself was getting attached. He felt a pang of guilt just thinking about word getting out and him not being able to see him. “Heh yea…they’re pretty strict about things like that…” he whispered, looking away towards one of the tables.

He didn’t want that.

Ben also didn’t want this conversation over this butt plug either, but for different reasons. His face was lit up. He’d never met someone so detailed in their recollection of one of his most embarrassing memories. Though only because it wasn’t something he’d planned. Ben couldn’t keep up his bashful look though, smiling as Seb made a heart at him. “As long as you like them…I’ll keep bringing them I guess…”

“Pictures…? Depends on what kind. Is it the kind I can send home to mum or the kind I keep password protected…?” Ben followed up without missing a beat. His sexed up train of thought was jolted by the demon making a move on his hand. There went his heart, swooning a little. His foot slowed it torment, but he much liked this new touching. Grey eyes flickered up to meet brown, noting the exchange. Fuck…what were they even talking about?

Dishing out flattery was something that came naturally for him, but this was quite different. The demon gave him all sorts of things that he liked. Ben didn’t give a fuck if he couldn’t sit without some pain. Just remembering their last few meetings made him shift in his chair. It was like Sebastian was playing his heartstrings. Avery…Avery didn’t take laughter as a sign of a good time. He got all bent out of shape easily. And it was dull. The thumb that rubbed his palm soothed his annoyance as quickly as it came. Even though his boyfriend was in the back of his mind, that wasn’t who he was on a date with on his anniversary.

Sebastian was…

Licking his lips, he scoffed at the man across from him. “You only get pictures when you do a good job…” Ben purred. It went without saying Seb did a right strapping job. He only brought it up to rile him. Just for a moment. It wasn’t any fun when Ben was petting the ego all the time…just most of it. It never stopped from the demon though…especially as he immediately offered to gift him plants. Suddenly feeling so pampered, it took him a moment to catch him talking about another witch. That’s right…they had been in the same shop. The train of thought crashed however upon seeing Hugo.

The flirty blond was also on a date there it seemed. Polished to a “T” in a fancy silver suit, he was hard to miss. The witch would know that asshole anywhere. He visibly bristled, as the foreigner had noticed him and was making the “prettiest” faces and lewd gestures his way. All whilst his client checked his phone. His grimace increased.

“…Evan?”

Snapping back to reality he quickly looked over at Seb and realized he was looking for whomever Ben was looking at. No no no! Hugo wasn’t going to have him again! He wouldn’t make the same mistake twice! Ben quickly stood, careful not to make too much noise with his chair and made a bold move to switch his chair so he was sitting on the right of the demon and much closer. Not bothering to move any part of his setting, the witch reached over and ran his fingers along Sebs neck to gently comb through his soft beard. It was an interesting addition to the demons look. And rather quickly grown? Had they been apart that long?Might even have made him a little more distinguished—which he’d have to let him know later, but at that moment he needed to tell him something else.

“You know…there is something the matter,” Ben whispered as he gently turned Seb to look at him, grey eyes shifting to a sultry gleam. Now much closer to the charmer, he had a second of cold feet. Fuck. What words were he going to say? “It’s occurred to me... that you’ve brought me to this beautiful restaurant…Showered me with gorgeous flowers and flattery. You’ve shown me a world of pleasure and pain at your will...and you’re still referring to me as Evan…” Ben finally conjured, glancing past Seb to where Hugo’s table was. It would seem the blond noticed who he was on a date with and looked livid. Still upset over a blowjob it seemed. Heh. Shifting the beautiful bouquet out of the way so he could lean in a little closer and slide Hugo out of his line of sight. His fingers lightly grazed his chin again.

“I wanna hear you call me by my actual name…It’s Reuben."

Seeing the eye roll and the look of detest cross Evan’s handsome features had Sebastian laugh out loud. The night he’d hired Hugo at Evan’s suggestion since he wasn’t free that night, the demon got something he wasn’t expecting. He had no idea why he would have thought anything different knowing Liam’s taste in other people. Blonde (cringe), a lack of looking anything over twenty (serious cringe. Seb wasn’t one to rob the cradle… they had to be special for that) and something there reminded him of the blonde bird at the gym that was suddenly so thirsty every time she saw Sebastian was working and he was, for some reason, the oasis to sate her thirst. Or at least he would be if he gave into her desperate advances. Make no mistake, Sebastian liked the willing, not the drooling, pick your jaw off the floor, air humping desperate. No thank you.

As soon as Hugo had walked in the door, the smell of lust and desire hit his nose and he repeatedly tried to get Sebastian’s clothes off. Sure, he’d polished up the demon’s aching knob in no time, he’d also done an excellent job of it. But regularly, Seb likes to look down at who was serving him, pull their hair, touch their face, fuck their mouth if they let him… The blonde hair just reminded him of someone else and he had a sudden anxiety that he was going to lose his cock. So after quickly finishing up, making sure to make a mess out of the escort’s face so he could suggest he wash up in the bathroom, Sebastian made a quick escape. The only way he hadn’t lost wood had been him picturing Evan. He’d had a hard time not moaning his name.

But that had been awhile ago now. Maybe a couple weeks. Sebastian had seen Evan since the event and he may have said something along the lines of “I won’t be doing that again.” to him, clearly meaning Hugo because his starry eyed escort asked him why he’d dipped out so quickly after a blowie. Not wanting to dive into why blondes gave him the heebee jeebees and had his manhood crawl back inside of him, Sebastian had opted to change the subject and say he just preferred the tan little escort’s perfect posterior and went about distracting him with pleasures of the flesh rather than chatting about his coworkers. His plan had gone beautifully and Hugo was never mentioned to him again, up until Liam started asking questions. Would everyone just lay off?? The demon was damn old enough to stick his cock where he wanted and in Hugo was not one he’d do willingly.

“Liam and I have a lot in common, the people we take to bed isn’t one of them. He’s got some different tastes but he’s a good friend.” Still laughing, although lightly now. Sebastian had never questioned Loki’s flavor in bed, as long as he wasn’t trying to snag was Sebastian was having. It was odd how much their personal tastes differed though but they do say opposites attract.

Seeing those hazel eyes with flecks if grayish blue look down once the rules were mentioned, Sebastian felt curious what he was really thinking. “I suppose I should start obeying the rules a little more closely then. I’d be devastated if I couldn’t see you anymore because I tend to forget what you tell me I shouldn’t do.” Though, even if Evan reminded him many more times of the rules, he would likely purposely forget or feint memory loss in the heat of the moment. That likely wouldn’t hold water for long. He really needed to behave.

The look on Evan’s face read anything but pleased to be talking about the cutesy little toys. Sebastian on the other hand, wouldn’t stop asking him about them. Now other toys seemed bland in comparison. Though she seemed to like his hand gestures. “I’d like that very much, Evan. When I come back home, promise?” He purred the words out, giving Evan’s hand an affectionate squeeze. It was also to reassure him that Seb was serious about the suggestion and not just trying to get his cheeks flushed red (thigh hat was totally a bonus in the demon’s book.) What the escort said next had him raise an eyebrow. “Well I’m not one for sending dick pics but there may be a couple you won’t want to share with mummy.” Those bright eyes looked down at Sebastian’s hand, then slowly looked up to meet his eyes. Unable to stop the smile, the demon also have a wink. Besides giving the slightest of sways, his eyes read vacant and then confused, like Sebastian had thunderstruck him.

The little squirm had Seb raise an eyebrow again. Was his bottom sore from someone else or was his muscles just remembering a fond memory? It was hard to tell, the escort gave little away though Sebastian smelled a hint of wrath. Although the thumb circling Evan’s palm seemed to soothe his ache for now, the demon wondered if he could do anything else to make whatever it was sting less… there he went again, wanting to lasso the moon and bring it down for the witch as a gift.

Although later into the dinner he did have a special gift for Evan. He was actually very excited to give it to him, no doubt the witch would be interested in a magically imbued item. “Well then. I guess I’ll just have to prove myself worthy of those snapshots.” He huffed, though he was positive Evan was just playing games and not being utterly serious. Yet he was still distracted by something and much to the demon’s annoyance, Seb wanted whatever was making his date anxious and squirm in his seat (in the bad way.) He could make it disappear.

When Sebastian’s eyes landed on the silver suit, though he nearly flipped the table in surprise. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. He should have never said his name. Catching one of the lewd gestures, he couldn’t help but growl. Too busy concentrating on trying to melt those flashy and obnoxious shoes Hugo was wearing to the floor, Seb then felt the air next to him move and he quickly snapped his attention back, sparing the ugly shoes for another day. Blinked a few times, now face to face with Evan at a much closer proximity, Sebastian was now hyper aware of the tent he’d begun to pitch in his dress trousers. They were straight leg trousers too so there was no saying it was just a zipper boner. No doubt Evan could tell the difference anyway. What surprised him even more was the sudden fingers through his beard. So maybe he did like it then. Leaning into the affectionate touch, he couldn’t help himself. It had been a hot minute since he’d seen Evan and just as long since the witch had touched him. Anywhere. Other than the footsie under the table. Bloody hell he missed it and a rumbled vibrated his chest as his eyes closed to savor this.

Shite he was talking about. Focus, man. Get your head on straight and stop imagining him taking care of itch you needed scratching. Desperately.

Dark eyes shot open when Evan reached the end of his sentence. “Tell me what’s wrong, I’ll make it right again.” His voice equally soft, Sebastian glad he could compose himself quickly just as fast as he could be thrown off his game. Paying close attention to the escort’s words, his eyebrows knitted together. Wasn’t he supposed to call him Evan? Seb wasn’t daft enough to think that could possibly be his real name, and likely only to protect himself from potentially dangerous clients he could meet. Did he want him to call him something different now? He’d gotten so used to “Evan” that learning something new may cause some hiccups every now and then. Sebastian wasn’t familiar with escorts just changing what they wanted called on a whim.

The next words coming from him were muffled, like he was speaking to the demon through thick glass. It was now Sebastian’s turn to be thunderstruck as his lips were gently parted, his brain trying to catch up with what he’d just been told. As if he’d been told to say his name that very second, “Reuben.” His voice breathy, barely above a whisper. There was a unique tingle on his lips and tongue as the name passed his lips and the fingertips on his chin where a beckoning. Leaning forward, their lips crashed together a second time for the night and Sebastian doubted it would end here. Bugger on that blonde likely staring daggers at them both now as Seb tilted his head some, reaching up to caress his cheek. Well now he wasn’t so sure he was going to keep his absence promise he’d made to himself anymore.

Ben wanted to stop Seb right there when he started talking about the rules. He did forget a lot and someone looking in, might say that Ben overlooked it a lot. He was the jailer that kept letting the criminal go cause he was amazing at kissing. He could be faulted for that, but what’s the worse the Hotel could do…fire him? They’d done it to his mother…but he was sure that wouldn’t be his fate. “Don’t worry…No one knows a thing….Rules are dumb anyways…” He said, waving off the whole thing in a sentence. Had it been the flowers? It had to have been the flowers that have him all spellbound. Even talking about his “special toys” hadn’t quite deterred the witch. He’d bought a new toy even…but that would be a surprise for next time.

“I Promise.”

It amazed him how…into him this man was. It was one thing to buy him flowers to just get his attention, it was another to offer him plants that wouldn’t die after a week in water and ask about his life. As the date went on Ben was noticing he was doing things to not only gain his favor but to actually get to know him. He was even certain now that he’d be bringing in baked goods before their meetings. This demon was trying to make him ‘happy’ and be respectful and it was hard to ignore. He could play dumb all he liked, but Seb was wooing him…just a little. Nothing about this felt fake…except him. Except what Reuben was doing.

“Tell me what’s wrong, I’ll make it right again.”

Acting in hopes of deterring his attention from his arch rival, Ben had made the demon concerned. It occurred to him that the demon had never seen him sad or truly upset till this date. Ben had shown nothing but bright eyed smiles and flirty looks whenever they were normally together. Even with Seb broke the rules. Though the fact that he was so ready to “fix” the person who caused the frown made him smile a bit. Daddy did always know how to make things better.

He could have told Seb any number of things right then. Could have really drove home that they needed time after the dinner for…extracurriculars. Could have commented on his beard and told him how sexy it looked. Anything, but instead, he went for something he’d find more valuable, like Ben had with everything Seb had done in the time span of them knowing each other. His name.

Hearing it from his lips sounded amazing. Something he’d wanted to hear for so long, once he realized they wouldn’t be easily getting rid of each other. It seemed so smooth coming from him. Almost like he was born to be the one to say it. Then again, it also could have been the proximity. Ben had finally closed the gap that had been bothering him all night. Able to touch on the well dressed demon in ways that would possibly make their audience uncomfortable, but he didn’t care. It was the kiss that came that made everything better. Hugo could sit and spin. Probably beside himself upset at what Ben was getting that he couldn’t even get close to. And all though all the other kisses had been amazing before now…this one was special and he felt it from his nose to his toes.

Lost in the kiss for a few moments he pulled away hesitantly, giving him a final peck on the lips before leaning back into his own space. His hand rose to cover the warm one at his cheek. He missed that the most. “I…didn’t mean to be so dramatic…but I didn’t want what I saw to bring down the mood…” he admitted, not even bothering to look Hugo’s way at this point. “I’m fine now. And no, I didn’t make that up. That is my real name. Since…I don’t know if we’ll have time to do anything else, I wanted to give you something nice. I mean…I just brought myself tonight so…” His face got increasingly red as he spoke. He’d never told a client his name before and few even cared.Ben couldn’t even fault the man if he simply forgot after tonight. Though…he just knew that wouldn’t be the case.

“Oh…uh…sorry to interrupt!” The waitress, finally appearing after so long to deliver their food. She didn’t so much as comment on the new arrangement of seating and simply set down the platters and slid Bens cutlery over to him. Another woman came up behind her and switched out their bottle of wine for another without a word, uncorking the bottle with east. “Enjoy!” the women quickly said before they tip-toed off. You could faintly hear them saying how cute the pair was. Ben was finally smiling again.

“Guess we shouldn’t let this get cold…” he muttered, not really interested in food, but also not wanting to waste Sebs time or money. He started on his food, but made sure that his free hand was on his thigh, tempting the dragon that had risen. But their good time was going to be short lived, because ole magic silver suit stepped up to the table.

“You know it’s so sad to see such a fine specimen go to waste on such average entertainment.” A familiar voice purred from the other end of the table. Fucking Hugo. Just couldn’t stay away.

“Don’t you have a client to keep up with?”

“Oh, bless your heart. I told him I had to use the little mens room. Though I’ve never had a problem keeping more than one client entertained….but It’s nice to see you pouring your life into one.” The blond chuckled, grinning as he watched Ben’s frown deepen. “Not even that suit can save you. ugh.”

“So sweet of you to stop by and give your unwanted opinion, though you’re interrupting my time with my client and I’m sure Zeke wouldn’t love to hear about that,” Ben threatened, bringing up the demon that managed the hotel escorts. He was a weird guy but very much about rules and business. “Keep pushing it Hugo and I’ll be happy to make you and your reflective suit disappear.” It was so easy for the man to get him seething. It only took a look. No one else ever got him this mad this quickly.

“What’s this? A bouquet? Aww, did someone finally do a good job? I feel slighted. I’m sure I earned something nice after I served you up so well..” The smaller blond was looking at Seb now, tongue running along his lip.

A slow curl started at the corner of his lips when he waved off the rules. A troublemaker, he knew he liked this one for many reasons other than he liked to be his little rope bunny. Maybe he could be a little rebellious. Sebastian could handle that; he liked that. And he was promised to see some nice new toys. Now that was something for him to hurry home to.

It had been a hot minute since Sebastian had felt like chasing after something he wanted… it was probably even longer since that something was a person and actually want to impress them. The escort was used to him being impressive in the bedroom but not quite the chance to do so outside so much. Hopefully after this, Sebastian could convince him to just meet up with him on the regular.

The fact that Reuben had shared his real name with him meant something. At least to Seb it did. It meant a certain type of trust that Ben had granted to him. A gift it certainly was and held a bit more weight than just the want to hear the demon purr his name in his ear (though he was sure it was an awesome bonus.) He’d barely even noticed that Ben had closed the gap and started to touch him. A light sigh came from him as Ben pulled away to speak. “You weren’t being dramatic. I just don’t want to see anything upset you.” He was now staring at Ben’s mouth but also listening to what he was saying to him. The demon just wanted to kiss him again and that showed with the delicate lick to his lips. “I believe you.” Mortals gave off a certain type of sin that he could pick up on, he couldn’t catch any hint of it. Unless this one had gotten very good at lying to him (riiiiiight) Sebastian had no reason to not believe the escort had given him his real name.

That still felt important to him and he was going to hang onto that feeling for awhile.

“I like that kind of gift.” The pad of his thumb grazing over his cheek. Sebastian liked that Reuben kept his facial hair; it had been one of the main reasons he’d picked him out of the crowd to begin with.

Slightly surprised when the waitress approached again to drop off their food. He’d forgotten he even ordered anything. Honestly he wasn’t even hungry, he was far too focused on his date for the night. His hand did drop away from Ben’s cheek and he sat properly in his chair when she set the steak in front of him. Well it did look good but he side eyed the man who was now sitting next to him at the table and wondering if he still wanted a cream filled dessert.

Sebastian’s first instinct was to grab for the wine, however and decided to top off Ben’s glass first. His legs opened up a little more for the hand sneaking up his thigh. Not expecting to be bothered AGAIN Sebastian nearly swung the wine bottle to hit the new intruder. Good thing he didn’t. What a waste of good wine that would be!

Bristling all the same and sneering at the comment of being a ‘fine specimen’, he kept his cool and topped off his own glass. Plucking the glass up from the table and giving it a long sip and paying no mind to Hugo. Why feed his ego more? He clearly wanted a rise and attention on him. So he was going to keep focusing on what was more important: Reuben.

Looking down at the scallops Ben had ordered and setting his glass of wine down. Using his own fork to stab one, he briefly looked back at Hugo. “What have you earned? Certainly not my favor for interrupting me.” Lowering the fork for now, but he had aim to feed Ben the morsel. “What you are earning instead is a complaint for you butting in on something you have no business butting into to begin with. Also getting on my bad side because you are insulting my date. I suggest you take that tacky suit of yours back to your old man before this becomes a scene.” He said matter-of-factly and turned back around to say he was done with the conversation unless Hugo stupidly tried to continue it.

A smile spreading over his lips looking back at Ben, he raised the fork again. “Open up, baby boy.” He purred, waiting until he complied. When he did, Seb slid the fork carefully between his lips and slowly pulled it back out once Ben had the bite. “Might not be the only time you hear me say that.” A mischievous smirk on his lips as he’d said it definitely loud enough for Hugo to hear (and maybe some people around them.)
